In order to prepare for the assessment of the national innovation district for the regular supervision from responsible inspectors at primary and secondary schools and the review of the educationally strong district and the advanced district for promoting the modernization of education in Guangdong Province, the Educational Supervision Office of the Education Bureau in the district held a work promotion meeting on 5 April. Tian Hongming, Director of the District Education Bureau, Chen Yuanfa, Secretary of the Work Committee of the District Education Bureau, You Weishuo, Director of the Educational Supervision Office of the District People's Government and Deputy Director Lai Yuntian attended this meeting.

　　Hosting the meeting, Lai Yuntian initially introduced the purpose and meaning of the participation of our district in this assessment work. He pointed out that the assessment and review work is the focus of this year's educational supervision work in the province. At the meeting, Wang Zhe, Director of the Supervision Management Office, gave a brief on her visit to Nanshan District for studying its innovation of educational supervision. She also made an overall analysis and report of the current situation, goals and directions of the assessment work. Bi Jie, Director of the Educational Supervision Office, gave a detailed report on the progress, existing issues and the ideas for the next step of the preparation for the review work, thoroughly interpreting the newly revised Provincial Acceptance Index System and the focuses of the preparation work.

　　Aiming at the actual situation of our preparation work, You Weishuo proposed to formulate targeted detailed implementation rules, achieve system improvement and mechanism innovation and strengthen the power by understanding the new situation and expanding the new ways of thinking from a practical standpoint. By doing the above, we can complete all the preparation work so as to make sure that we will pass the assessment on the first try.

　　Chen Yuanfa shared his years of experience of supervision work and provided valuable opinions and suggestions, pointing out that we should work hard on innovation, settle down to have a good thinking and strengthen the communication. Moreover, we should straighten out, summarize and refine the supervision work so as to make a good preparation for the assessment.

　　Finally, Tian Hongming provided four suggestions on this assessment preparation work:

　　1. We should carry out all the work in a detailed manner against the assessment criteria;

　　2. We should make a good arrangement of time and carry the work forward by plan with purpose;

　　3. We should highlight the assessment focuses and refine the highlights of our education and educational supervision work; and

　　4. We should overcome the difficulties in the assessment preparation work, providing a thorough organizational guarantee for it.

　　He also emphasized that we should define and take the responsibilities, mitigate weaknesses and fulfill precise implementation so as to make sure that we can pass this assessment excellently as soon as possible.

　　The establishment of regular supervision from responsible inspectors at primary and secondary schools is an innovation which is an important measure to change the government's management role and to strengthen the supervision of and guidance on schools. Through this assessment of the national innovation district for the regular supervision from responsible inspectors at primary and secondary schools and the review of the educationally strong district and the advanced district for promoting the modernization of education in Guangdong Province, we will improve the educational supervision work in all directions and further standardize the operating of primary and secondary schools so as to promote the high-quality, balanced, distinctive, modernized and internationalized development of Futian's education business.
